Prayer Ministries

  • Prayer Chain:  The prayer chain mobilizes volunteers quickly for urgent prayer needs.  Each person serving as a "prayer link" agrees to pray for the need and to pass the request on to the next "link".

  • Rear Guard:  Two members of the Rear Guard pray together at the close of the Sunday morning service to pray over the Word that has been presented, and to ask God to seal the Word in the hearts of the people, that it might be lived out in our daily lives.

  • Pastor's Prayer Force:  A pastoral prayer support team of men and women who pray over specific areas of the pastors' lives daily.  They are dedicated to strengthening, undergirding, protecting and assisting their pastors.  Like David's might men, they are sensitive toward the pastoral ministry.  Members of the prayer force are assigned a month of the year during which they will serve.  They agree to pray daily and, if possible, fast one day a week of that month.

  • Corporate Prayer Team:  Meets in the Sanctuary/Prayer Room on Wednesday nights, from 6:15pm-7:00pm.  We gather to pray for our church:  the staff, members and ministries, for the church universal, specific requests, etc.

  • Prayer Chapel:  Located at the rear of the Sanctuary, under the Media Loft, the Prayer Chapel is open for personal prayer, with periodic guided prayer themes, maps and special prayer request forms.

  • Other Opportunities:  There are other opportunities throughout the year for special prayer events such as the Upward Program, the National Day of Prayer, Prayer Walks, 24-hour Prayer Vigils, etc.
