United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm in the Memorial Room. A member of the group presents a program of interest to the ladies and we have a short business meeting. The UMW has sent health kits, sewing kits, and school kits to the United Methodist Council of Relief at Sager Brown, LA. We support several Missions with our prayers & financial resources. We attend Spring and Fall District wide meetings and the District Mission Studies & Reading Program.

Our Purpose: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
